SLOVENSKA STRELA – A TIMELESS ICON IN OSTRAVA
At the June Rail Business Days fair in Ostrava, DAKO-CZ truly shined. The arrival and display of the Slovenska Strela, a national cultural monument, dazzled all attendees. It was an incredible experience, and we believe it won’t be the last encounter with this iconic beauty from the First Republic.
11 WORLD PREMIERES AT THE INNOTRANS FAIR
“Betting on innovation and sustainability” – under this motto, DAKO-CZ approached the InnoTrans fair in 2024. Thanks to the outstanding work of the entire team, the company showcased 11 products in world premieres at the most prestigious railway trade fair, including:

• Electromechanical brake unit for trailer bogie
• Weight-optimized distributor
• Block brake unit for metro cars
• DAKO BECU
• Control unit iRB-06.1 for EM brake
• Magnetic track brake DAKO
• DAKO digital solutions for remote monitoring of freight wagons
This year, DAKO-CZ caught attention with an extensive presentation featuring more than 30 exhibits. With its approach and dedication, the company confirmed its position among the leaders in the industry, impressing not only visitors but also competitors.
The motto “WE BRAKE GREEN” can now be expanded with another: “WE ARE DIGITAL READY” – emphasizing the company’s focus on digitalization.
DAKO-CZ BRAND AWARD
For the third time, the DAKO-CZ brand has been ranked among elite companies by receiving the prestigious Business Superbrands award. This title, reserved for the most prestigious brands on the Czech market, confirms the exceptional quality, innovation, and strong position of DAKO-CZ among top-tier companies.
In 2024, only 14 brands in the B2B (business-to-business) sector received this honor.
IRIS RECERTIFICATION AUDIT
As a manufacturing company, we place great emphasis on meeting the requirements set by standards. At the end of October, DAKO-CZ underwent a surveillance audit for recertification under the railway standard IRIS. The three-day audit was conducted under the supervision of Polish auditors, and the result was clear: we successfully defended our bronze medal.
The next surveillance audit is scheduled for the autumn of 2025.
MEETING OF PRODUCTION DIRECTORS
AT DAKO-CZ
On Friday, November 8, DAKO-CZ welcomed more than 60 production directors and specialized professionals as part of the Production Forum. The goal of this significant event was to introduce visitors to the company, focusing primarily on its production operations and technologies.
