DAKO-CZ helps to significantly improve railway safety by developing and manufacturing brake systems for most railway applications. Our ambitious goals must correspond to all current market trends and even try to anticipate them. That is why we are proud to have become a new member of UNIFE (THE EUROPEAN RAIL INDUSTRY) in May.INDIA - OPENING OF TWO JOINT VENTURES WITH OUR STRATEGIC PARTNERS - JUPITER AND MEDHA
n June, we opened two new businesses in India with our partners. With a key player in the Indian market, Medha Servo Drives Pvt. Ltd., we founded the company MEDHA DAKO-CZ Ltd. based in Hyderabad. Our cooperation is focused on the supply of complete and modern brake systems for the newly prepared EMU, METRA cars and locomotives for the Indian Railways. With Jupiter Wagons Ltd., which is the number two in the wagon manufacturing market, we established JWL DAKO-CZ India Ltd., which is based in Kolkata.
GOLDEN PARTNERSHIP AT THE IRFC CONFERENCE
In October, an international railway forum and conference was held in Prague, and our company also supported it and became a gold partner. The two-day event focused on innovative technologies and best practices in rail freight transportation and logistics in the European and Euro-Asia market. Prague became the place where the best European and Asian manufacturers, freight carriers met and presented their innovative solutions. Our colleague, Miroslav Táborský, was among the 45 speakers, including the representatives of the European Commission, the Ministry of Transport, UIC, OSŽD, ERA, UNIFE, CER, ISB, UIRR and other important people.InnoTrans - WE INTRODUCED A REVOLUTIONARY SOLUTION IN THE FIELD OF BRAKE SYSTEMS
At the InnoTrans fair last year, two products had their world première, the lightweight beam brake DAKO ITBL for wagons and the revolutionary electromechanical disc brake unit – DAKO KKBE. The lightweight beam brake for wagons combines simplicity and robustness in a compact design. In its development, our company applied several innovative solutions. At the same time, a unique solution in the form of the DAKO KKBE electromechanical disc brake unit was presented for the first time in Berlin, which breaks down established technical solutions and surpasses the previously available parameters of manufacturers with its parameters.

THE IRIS CERTIFICATION
In October, we successfully defended the supervisory audit of EN ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/TS 22163:2017 standards, v. 3 under the supervision of the certification company TÜV Nord with the participation of three auditors of the given company.DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY - OUR SUPPORT IS AIMED AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL
For a long period of time, we have perceived support in the field of social responsibility as one of the company’s key activities. This year, we have tried to support as many activities as possible in our neighbourhood, as well as our employees and their hobbies, and especially to support those who need financial or material help. We have supported events at the national level, which was the collection “Shoe Boxes” and we supported the Czech Athletic Association.
12 December 2022 WE EXCEEDED THE TURNOVER OF TWO BILLION
