Sustainability Report
Although our company does not issue a standalone sustainability report, we are fully integrated into the broader sustainability reporting framework of the CSG Group. Our efforts and progress in this area are included in the CSG Sustainability Report, which provides an overview of the Group’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
Starting from the 2024 reporting period, sustainability information will be included in CSG’s “Integrated Report,” which combines financial and non-financial sustainability data in line with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Corporate Governance
Our corporate governance ensures that all decision-making processes are guided by integrity, accountability, and transparency. We maintain strong oversight of sustainability goals, ensuring our actions align with our values and the CSG Group’s commitment to responsible business practices.
We continue to enhance transparency in our operations. We regularly publish an annual report that details our financial performance, strategies, projects, and sustainability development activities. Media communication is crucial for us, and we actively participate in interviews and press conferences to share our values and achievements. Our employees adhere to a code of ethics, and we provide an anonymous hotline for reporting violations of legal or ethical standards.
We are fully aware of our responsibility toward sustainability and actively work to achieve our goals. We believe our efforts will have a positive impact on the environment, society, and the communities in which we operate.
Environmental Responsibility
As a company with a long-standing tradition of craftsmanship, we understand the importance of preserving natural resources for future generations. Our approach to environmental stewardship reflects our commitment to the planet, in line with CSG’s sustainability goals of responsible future.
Manufacturing
Our manufacturing operations depend on energy-intensive processes. Therefore, we invest in modern technologies and equipment to reduce energy consumption and optimize resource use. As part of our sustainable practices, we focus on proper waste disposal and minimization, prioritizing recycling and material reuse.
In our responsible supply chain, we carefully select suppliers, working primarily with those adhering to sustainable practices and standards. Supporting suppliers who emphasize social responsibility and environmental protection is vital for the overall sustainability of our manufacturing process. We also focus on developing eco-friendly materials and processes with long-term positive environmental impacts. Our employees receive training on these topics, encouraging them to take an active role in environmental protection.
Ecology and Environment
Environmental protection is a priority for DAKO-CZ, a.s., and an integral part of our corporate culture. Measures are implemented in accordance with decisions and recommendations from relevant state authorities.
In air quality protection, emission limits for specific pollution sources have been verified. A trial operation of an activated carbon installation is underway in the paint shop to reduce air emissions. The current technology meets legislative requirements.
We also monitor and address historical environmental contamination. Regular post-remediation monitoring of potable, groundwater, and wastewater is conducted in compliance with legislation.
Within our premises, we prioritize waste sorting. We adhere to all applicable regulations and fulfill our reporting obligations to ISPOP.
Employee Training
We ensure regular online training (e-learning) for employees in environmental protection, handling chemicals and highly toxic substances, waste sorting, ADR, occupational health and safety, and fire protection. Special attention is given to first-aid training in collaboration with First Help Educations.
In 2024, we created “First Aid Points” equipped with defibrillators, first aid kits, intercoms for reporting emergencies, fire extinguishers, and documentation on fire protection, workplace safety, and environmental protection.
Social Responsibility
We are committed to fostering a workplace culture that is safe, inclusive, and supportive. Our people are our most valuable asset, and we invest in their well-being through comprehensive health and safety initiatives and continuous professional development.
Supporting the Disabled
DAKO-CZ actively supports social responsibility initiatives. For years, we have backed projects in the Třemošnice region, supporting employees’ activities, local family centers, vocational schools, and universities in the Czech Republic and abroad.
At the national level, we have participated in projects like the “Shoebox” initiative, where employees prepared gifts for children and teenagers. Additionally, we support athletes and emerging talents, including financial contributions to the Czech Athletic Federation.
Our most notable support has been for Nela Kočárníková, a girl born with hydrocephalus. Since 2018, we have financially supported her medical treatments. Her mother’s handcrafted angel bracelets, symbolizing hope, accompany us in key events domestically and abroad.
We also focus on aiding people with mental disabilities, fostering their daily lives in mutual community support.
