DAKO-CZ, a manufacturer of brake systems and components for railway vehicles based in Třemošnice, East Bohemia, has expanded its Board of Directors by appointing a new member. The company, part of the industrial and technology group Czechoslovak Group and its Mobility division, welcomes Christopher Antes to the Board. He will be responsible on the role of Board Member for the Business Development, Research & Development, and International Integration.
The Board of Directors now contains five members. Lukáš Andrýsek, who is also the CEO of CSG Mobility and Tatra Trucks, serves as the Chairman. Stanislav Pometlo, the CEO of DAKO-CZ, is Vice Chairman of the Board, alongside Jiří Kaiser, who serves as the second Vice Chairman and is the CFO of CSG Mobility. The remaining board members include Kamil Pařízek, Director of Sales at DAKO-CZ, and newly appointed Christopher Antes.
Christopher Antes joined the company in October this year, bringing extensive experience that led to his appointment to the Board of Directors. Before joining DAKO-CZ, he spent five years at Wabtec Corporation as President of Group Brakes & Safety. He is a graduate of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
His main responsibilities will include supporting DAKO-CZ and the entire CSG Mobility division in areas such as business development within the rail industry, research & development, and international expansion.

In 2020, the company DAKO-CZ started deliveries for a new customer, the Spanish company TALGO, specifically for its train units for Egypt. Other orders are supplied to countries such as Poland, Slovenia, Austria, and India. In 2020, the company DAKO-CZ took second in the Company of the Year competition of the Pardubice Region, and in 2021 the company won this competition. In 2022, the company won the prestigious Czech Superbrands award and became part of UNIFE. In 2023 and 2024, the company defended its Czech Superbrands award.
